Design Hacks is a design oriented hackathon that will allow students to build upon ideas and possibly compete with one another. Design Hacks will be centered around creating logos, user interfaces, graphic designs, games, and other design and tech related products. All majors and skill levels are welcome. There will be food, swag, games, workshops, companies, and more!

What is Design Hacks?
Design Hacks is a design oriented hackathon allowing students to learn new design skills, meet new people, and make awesome products.
What is a hackathon?
A hackathon is a magical event where students spend hours and hours building an idea into reality. It's about learning new things and coming up with creative solutions with technology.
Who can attend?
Any and all current students at the University of Texas at Austin are invited to attend! You skill level doesn’t matter! No other requirements necessary.
When does registration open?
Registration will open on February 19th at 4 PM. If you are accepted you have 7 days to confirm your registration.
What are the rules?
All content must be created at the event. You can't demo something you didn't create. Don't talk about Fight Club. All attendees (hackers, supporters, mentors, volunteers, etc) must abide by the Code of Conduct.
What should I bring?
Yourself, your valid UT ID, a laptop, chargers, or anything else you might need during the event. Firearms, weapons, alcohol, illegal drugs, or power tools are not allowed. Smiles and awesomeness are welcome.
How much money will this cost me?
Zero. Zip. Zilch. Nada. Nothing. Gratis. It's free. Freetail Hackers provides students with WiFi, meals, swag, workspace, and prizes for the entire event.
